thing ID = tag?

Hey guys,

More newbish questions about hexen format. I'm trying to make a camera but can't get it to work. I think the problem is that I need to set a thing ID for the camera thing, but I'm not sure how. it's not the same thing as the tag is it? I can't find a thing ID field anywhere on the thing.

Set a tag on the thing, that tag will become the TID.

well, good to know, but that means my camera isn't functioning for some other reason. according to the zdoom wiki i need to create a camera texture for the screen. does this have to be an actual texture that there is a patch for, or can you just make up a name that doesn't exist otherwise?

EDIT: with a little more tweaking it works :)
