I plan on adding angled attack frames to the Wolfenstein SS from Doom II, and was wondering if there is any technique that would facilitate this process.

To my knowledge, there are only two ways to do this, neither of which is easy:

1. "Hand" draw the extra sprites (i.e., draw them on paper and scan them, or draw them directly into a graphics editing program).
2. Create a model (either a physical one or a computer one), rotate it, and "capture" the image.

Just copy one of the walking frames and attach muzzle flashes to it.
