I'm having a prob. with wadauthor. Ok, say i'm trying to make a metal rimming along the edge of the roof of a room, with metal "columns" coming down from the rimming to touch the ground. Let's say I add the columns first and make the rimming as rectangles in between. Like this...

Square a will be stretched into a rectangle and joined between squares b, c, and line d through "join lindef's". The problem is, sometimes the resulting sector will not be closed because one of the lindefs it joined to does not count as part of it. Or sometimes, if i fix that, the original sector, the one i'm rimming around, will not be closed because it counts one or two of the rimming lindefs as part of it. Help!
