The download links for both DECORATE and DecX are dead. How do I get an actor editor?!?!?!?

The funny thing is that I've never understood why people need them; instead of typing code in a text editor.

Maybe it's because they don't want to constantly switch to the documentation to see what fields they can use.

SLADE 3 has syntax highlighting and tooltips for this kinda things.

If you're not using Windows Hate, you can have more than one window on the screen, too. With widescreens and dual-monitors, it's easy to have more room than you need to display both the documentation and the code editor.

So, Slade 3 IS an actor editor, as long as your willing to type and/or copy/paste code?

It has a text editor. You can write actor code in it. There are syntax hilighting for the language.
