Hello doomworld. i am wanting to mod some my doom wads and i need to make some sprites, how ever i can never find any tutorials on how to do so. if anybody knows of some tutorials on sprite making please let me know.

Phobus posted one in these forums some time back, though the image links have since died. Fortunately there's a complete copy in the Internet Archive.

Since the following links are to the ZDoom forum, some also include DECORATEing.

The ZDoom forum has been and still is a hotbed for new creations of sprites, so much so that a topic specific to spriting had been stickied
