Is there was way (in WinTex) to put new flats in? Like do I just make a 64x64 bmp and load it in? Or what

there is a way that tobe told me, but it's really complicated to me. Use XWE instead

Yes, basically that's it. You would use edit, load entry from file, type the name of your flat, and Wintex will look for yourname.bmp. You can then display all files and select some other filename for loading.
Flats in your wad need F_start before them and F_end after them to be seen and loaded.

Last sentence above means "seen and loaded by doom", not by Wintex.

Heh, thanks Biffy, that's exactly what I thought. You can just click on the icon that brings you to the flats list, and it lets you "load entry from file" if it is 64x64. Nice.
