Locked switch in UDMF?

Recommended Posts

The title says it,how do i make a switch that is locked in doom builder?
In my level i want my player collect one key of each color and then go to a switch and press it,lowering a gate blocking the exit,i got it to work so far,but all i want to know now is about how to make it locked.

Assuming you're using GZDoom Builder, the Lock Number on the switch should be set to 229 (for either keytype from each colour) or 101 (for all six keys).

More info:

Actually, there are no lock number on my switch,i think it is because it is not a switch door,so i need to script it all?

Do you want to lower some bars right?
Just put the switch that lowers them behind a door that requires the keys.

I did this in one of the maps I showed you as an example (the one with the groovy track in the background). It could work in the same way even though I used it to lock a switch that couldn't lock two things at once.
