sesalpinogamer Posted July 17, 2015 The title says it,how do i make a switch that is locked in doom builder? In my level i want my player collect one key of each color and then go to a switch and press it,lowering a gate blocking the exit,i got it to work so far,but all i want to know now is about how to make it locked. 0 Share this post Link to post
BaronOfStuff Posted July 17, 2015 Assuming you're using GZDoom Builder, the Lock Number on the switch should be set to 229 (for either keytype from each colour) or 101 (for all six keys). More info: http://zdoom.org/wiki/LOCKDEFS 0 Share this post Link to post

gaspe Posted July 17, 2015 Do you want to lower some bars right? Just put the switch that lowers them behind a door that requires the keys. 0 Share this post Link to post

I did this in one of the maps I showed you as an example (the one with the groovy track in the background). It could work in the same way even though I used it to lock a switch that couldn't lock two things at once. 0 Share this post Link to post
