a bit of help please

im looking to play some doom 2 online but arent exactly sure what i need to do. i have apretty old version of doom i got about 4 years ago called Doom 2 for windows 95. i havnt updated it at all. im running xp. ive heard some things about free look in doom which would absolutly make my day. i cant even get my mouse to work anyway. so any help at all id love thanks in advanced.

1. Download ZDoom for SP and Legacy for multiplayer - both have these options.
2. Download Doom Connector.
