Guys, these folders came with an older version of ZDoom. If you were using v1.22 before 2.0.47, you'll have them already. Unfourunately, it allows nothing for when bots are added in a Hexen game while running ZDoom.

Tihs is why I like ZDoom over Legacy- Leagy requires two different EXEs for Doom and Heretic, and antoher for Hexen, but ZDoom runs em all!

Legacy fly mode: IDFLY

Legacy 2 will be ACS compatible.

Legacy runs at a different speed than ZDOOM because one is a software port, the other is meant to be used in hardware mode.

I think like in the bots thread you've mistaken JDOOM for Legacy.

What subject are you on? I'll be honest- I've never got JDoom to work cuz I didn't have a 3D Card. So I've never used it yet.

Nope. I checked the page and saw ther there was no item to fly in the game, and assumed that Legacy had no way to do this. And seeing a seperate page for Hexen Legacy, I thought that there was a seperate EXE for Hexen support. Still... I'm used to ZDoom programming, andthat 's the port I'm using for a Legend of Zelda game.

Also, not having hardware means legacy is going to lag. ZDoom has no probs wif not having a 3D card... so that's good. Perhaps it means I could rach a bigger audience with ZDoom?

Just a thought.

This is all from the bots.cfg file that comes with the recent versions of zdaemon. At one point, Nomad unzipped the zdaemon files into the same folder as his zdoom, that's where this came from.

(taken back) Oh. I got only 16 bots.... not the last one. Anyway, I saw the Zdoom 1.22 and noticed ZCajun bots wiht the names Rambo, Sven, V234, etc. and put those two togehter.

All in all, If you have ZDoom 1.22 you already have bots to use fro 2.0.47.

well, for starters, is the zcajun folder in your zdaemon folder?

I dont use zdaemon for bots myself. I use ZDoom instead. And I've never had any problems.

Everything was setup properly but I have it working now, zdaemon comes with an edited bots.cfg file that uses monster skins instead of base. Maybe thats why it wouldnt work. this is the bots.cfg that comes with zdaemon:
(edited as bots cfg is already listed earlier in thread)
