Screen grab

My apologies if this sounds a bit n00bish (and un-DooMish but I will use it for DooM-related things), but how do you take a screenshot of the screen? (ie. is there a way to do it directly, without using a scanner or digital camera)

Look for PrintScrn on your keyboard. Hit that, it puts what is currently being displayed on the monitor to the clipboard, then, open your image program and paste the monitor shot (minus mouse icon) into the program
