a quick firewall question...

Alright, I realize that this is totally unrelated to anything Doom, but I figured this was the best mishmash of talented people and cockmongers to ask. Does anyone know of some decent (free, preferably) gateway software? I ask because I'm trying to set up a web server here on campus, but if I set it up on our gateway, it'll only be accesible to people on the inside (thanks to previous testing). If no one knows of any FREE stuff, just let me know what you know about.

I'm not looking for FIREWALL software, I need GATEWAY software. I'm trying to BREAK a firewall, and to do that, I need to set up my own gateway.
