Ancient Warriors Gaming Organization

Recommended Posts

Formed in November 2000 with the purpose of providing a helpfull, prosperous environment for gamers with similar interests and a desire for teamwork, dedication, respect, and sportsmanship.

Ancient Warriors are not made from the same mold as the stereotypical gaming clan member. AW is comprised of a group of people who hold good personal qualities in high regard. We are not about drama, high turnover, squabbling, trash talk, or "0wning J00". We are about each other, love of the game and the desire to promote an atmosphere which supports sportsmanship, personal relationships, and most importantly, FUN!! Considered an extended family by all, AW members are always ready to help one another, and offer any assistance they can. It is with these priciples, those of our creed and an even-handed objective group of organization Leaders that ensures our desired atmosphere remains in check.

AW Members play a variety of games, including but not limited to Doom 3, Quake2, Neverwinter Nights, and Diablo2. Some members have even developed game modifications like -=AW=- Path of Ascension for NWN. Our Quake II Division has some of the most popular servers on the net, with an average of 100 unique players per day.
If you see us, don’t be afraid to say hello!!

Having more than 50% of our members stay with AW for more than 1 full year stands as a testament to the quality of people in AW. To be a member of AW, you must display a measure of maturity and not your "ub3r 1337 skillz", our ranking is based on participation, not performance, an organization comprised of egos cannot survive... Anyone asked to join AW should take it as a compliment for being considered a good person by good people.

Feel free to visit our site ( http://AncientWarriors.org ) and feel free to check out our forums and get to know us. Our servers page has information available that is actively updated, be sure and check it out!

Moved from Classic Doom Multiplayer, since nothing in the post seemed to be about Doom(1) or Doom2.

Didn't seem to be about Doom 3 either.

Doom3 was at least mentioned as a game they played, and this appears to be the motivation for the post to have been made at all.

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum.. thought I had the correct forum, guess not. Thanks for moving it.

Yes, Path of Ascension is a popular persistent world for NWN. We have a strong presence in the NWN, Q2, and (to a lesser extent) Halo communities, and we hope to include Doom 3 in that list very soon.

The original post was intended to let people who play Doom 3 know about our organization, so that they can go to our site and see if they might be interested in joining an organization like ours.
AW can't be catalogued as a "Doom 3 clan", because we have several gaming divisions and don't really focus on clanlike activities, such as tournaments and "Owning" people, but more on having fun.
We are recruiting Doom 3 players for our new Doom 3 division, if anyone is still interested after perusing our site.

Seems more Doom3 MP orientated.
