what the is wrong with doom connector?

when i try to run doom connector, it will start to update itself which is normal but when it reaches 13% it restarts and after the third time it says "File CRC does not match". what is a stupid file CRC do anyways? it is getting very annoying now.

it worked, but why did it do that the entire time up until now?
