That's pretty sad, I was kind of looking forward to more EDGE updates. EDGE is kind of slow on my computer, and I don't think it's my computer's fault. But anyways, I hope EDGE doesn't die. Maybe if it gets too close to death, maybe another team that makes source ports will take it from where it died off, or maybe it could unite with legacy or zdoom. But as far as I remember stuff like that never happened in the doom community and it might not. It's good that one of the programmers is still there and he worked that hard to get Qdoom to work well with EDGE, at least someone cares to keep it alive. If everyone else got bored of it and this guy still trying to keep it going, he probably deserves a reward for that. I think that's awesome, I admire that. I know if I could code I'd probably be one of the first to give up =( .
Someone meaning, one of the programmers that were working on EDGE, cuz I know other people would care to keep EDGE alive.
