Unfortunetly I'm not a Doom newbie, the rarest of species but I am new to Doomworld. I've never really became involved in the Doom community, rather I just made assorted wads and deathmatched on them with friends. But that was awhile ago.

Recently after a refreshing network DM of Doom at my school I decided, what the hell. This is hella fun. So I got back into map making. Fired up trusty Dck (had to find it, I used my old P133 for mapping about 5 years ago) and I started creating a spaceport/type level.

I want everyone to see it so far, but I totally can't recall on how you take screenshots ingame using the Doom2.exe (I use zDoom, but it wont load my maps currently for some weird reason, must be the fact that I have no exit. I could fire up my completed levels though)

I just want to say hi to everyone here, and hopefully show you my progress so far once I figure out how to snap some pics of my current level. ;)

I totally can't recall on how you take screenshots ingame using the Doom2.exe (I use zDoom, but it wont load my maps currently for some weird reason, must be the fact that I have no exit. I could fire up my completed levels though)

Try the print screen button for making screenshots. It should work fine with ZDoom. As for it not loading your maps, try opening ZDoom from the DOS prompt:

zdoom -file [wadname].wad

I doubt I'll be playing Doom3 on my P2 350 with my Voodoo3, no chance in hell ;p

I have 400 dollars as of now (Canadian!), I might buy one of those expensive GeForce 3s, or should I just buy a whole new system?
