Bryant Posted December 12, 2005 Hey there. I just got a new motherboard not too long ago, but I don't think it supports MIDI in some cases. Hench, I get no music for Doom. Is there any way to fix this? I'm going to be totally depressed if I can't get my favorite game working correctly. Thanks! 0 Share this post Link to post

Bryant Posted December 12, 2005 Yup, read that text. Twas hard to miss, mate. Doom worked great under all the source ports before my new mobo. Now it doesn't. Sorry if I'm not allowed to post this. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bloodshedder Posted December 12, 2005 You should have mentioned you were using a source port... Check the Audio tab under the Sounds and Multimedia control panel item. Make sure MIDI Music Playback is set to...something. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bryant Posted December 13, 2005 I'll check it out, and then get back to this. Thanks for helping. 0 Share this post Link to post
Bryant Posted December 14, 2005 Ok, I feel lame now. All I had to do was get rid of the .cfg file so it audodetected the right MIDI driver. Ungh. Sorry for wasting time. Thanks anyways, though. 0 Share this post Link to post
