Thats what I thought...but why the Hell does he end up ond Deimos first?

Someone has probably answered this already...but it's because Deimos has been moved to the edge of hell...remember?

BTW, have any of you seen what happens when you start the level in a hurting sector? The Doomguy makes this face where he's surprised and looking down...its kinda funny. I saw it once when I had random floors on in D!.

A good example of that is also "Bloodfalls".

Although it's never mentioned anywhere in Doom, I still like the idea that the Doomguy dies at the end of episode 1 (after all, it ends scant moments before he is about to) and Episode 2 has the Doomguy, now dead and crossed over to the other side, on Deimos for whatever reason, which is as we know is in Hell.

I don't think that's exactly the way that it's supposed to be in the game, but it doesn't make any difference to continuity and I just think it's cooler. He's fighting his way out of Hell to destroy the demons and also come back to life, sort of like something in Greek mythology.

Beautiful ExpansionLand, in Fuck-Continuity County. Usually I don't consider even official expansions to be "canon". Of course, there are rare exceptions (Brood War, Oposing Force, et al)

Because the gates were linking Phobos and Deimos, so the gate on Phobos take you to Deimos, which is in hell.
