I can't update Oleaut32.dll Windows won't let me do it for some convoluted reason, and it's the only reason the MyDoom won't run! Please help, Mr. Elvis Programmer Man.

Hmm, the only quick solution I have in mind is:

1) Copy the DLL on a Windows bootdisk

2) Boot with this disk

3) At the command prompt, copy the DLL into the Windows \system folder by hand: copy a:\oleaut32.dll c:\windows\system

True enough, but it's now running just how I want it to. Iv'e sent the registration message as well. Are all of those spaces SUPPOSED to be there? I hope so. MyDoom is great, I'll put a link to your site in my sig.

When the program generated the document to mail to you, it had about 5 empty rows between the /top line and any actual text.
