how many of you want GBA doom and a GBA if u dont got one. well i want a GBA, but dont got the $90. Doom is one of my reasons for wanting it, along with a few other games and the fact that i need a new gameboy anyway. I am glad GBA is not the failure GBC is. GBC had poor coloring, worse than an old school CGA monitor. Anyway i hope to get GBA and GBA doom soon, need something for study hell and plane trips to canada.
how many have signed up for doomworld's little contest or have goten a GBA with doom

I entered the contest, I don't have it and most likely won't get it unless I win.

Doom would be the only reason to get it in the first place and ZDooM rocks more, it's free, and I don't have to get off my lazy ass to go to a store and buy it.

Plus I only have 15 bucks and need a pocket knife

I bought a GBC just a few years ago... I can't afford a GBA, and my old unit would just go to waste. The Game Boy is forcing upgrades faster than the PC industry is. Makes you wonder if you could overclock the GBC...

its possible to overclock a GBC but it is not worth it, the display is shit. only 4 colors i think. and i believe that it is mostly original gameboy stuff inside too. I have seen and played an overclocked game boy, but it is not really worth it. some games run too fast and freeze other times. It also eat batteries like a bitch too. I have no idea why u would overclock one anyway, but my friends bro did it. Hey what are the specs for gameboy original, GBC and finally GBA( talking RAM and cpu speed for the most part)

I just bought a GBA with Mario Kart and Doom.. those games alone are worth it
Doom fucking kicks ass for it, the sound and the graphics are incredibily smooth, with a pleasant aftertaste!

yea mario was another game i want. however it better not be monopolized by that pokemon(poke-a-man) bullshit. last year when looking for a new gameboy game all i saw was pokemon everything, how many damn versions can there be. they better make a new metroid game, metroid II kicked ass

GBA is well worth the money for Doom and Castlevania alone. And this is only within the first year. Imagine the awesome games that will be coming out 2 years from now. I'm more hyped up about the GBA right now than the XBox, Gamecube, or PS2.

I lucked out on paying for my GBA: $73.77 (American). And I was lucky enough to be the first person at the GameStop where I reserved my Doom GBA. It was also sad enough that I was the ONLY one to reserve it. :(

Die. Last I knew it usually displays 65 at most at once but there actually is a hidden highcolor mode that lets each pixel have it's own color.
