You should make more upbeat songs similar to Terabyte and Strength in Numbers.

Please make a MP3 of Nobody Told Me About Plutonia. That song is epic.

And who knows, maybe I'm wrong. But that's extremely unlikely because I'm always right.

It took me like 45 seconds to figure out how to pronounce that word.

Those of you who liked Terabyte may like the new version of the song, complete with extra lyrics written by me and my father, that is now available on my MySpace. :)

Comments welcome!

Chrome Bolt: I may release all my Plutonia stuff under MP3 format once PL2 1.1 releases.

JohnnyRancid: It took me even longer to think of a way to portmanteau the words "claustrophobia" and "catastrophe". :P Oh and I pronounce it "clos-tas-tro-phee".

All my contributions to Claustrophobia 1024 are now available for download.

Trilemma (MAP05)
Squar (MAP22)
Crushed Hope (MAP25)
Claustastrophe (Title)
The Looniness of the Homestar Runner* (Intermission)
Chimes of Death (Victory/MAP33)

*This track's name comes from the fact that it was transcribed to MIDI based entirely on the first four patterns of a module track of "The Loneliness of the Long-Distance Runner" by Iron Maiden.

Trilemma is now my favourite song of yours.

Oh, and you might want to get rid of the '/' at the end of the link there, it seems to make it not work.

Heh, thanks, Stewboy. :)

Two "new"* midis are up:

Hang 'em High: Used in SMDM25 of Sabbat Martyr Deathmatch. It's based on a module from an Unreal modification, IIRC.
Holofernes: This is a MIDI rendition of Revalvicate E1M5 (original by Scragadelic). I sent this to Mechadon so it could be used in SMDM04, but he decided to instead use the original .MOD. Oh well. :P

*These were both made during SMDM's development, making them about 2 years old. Plus they're based on modules done by other people, but I hope they're worth listening to anyway. :P

Oh wow, I forgot about the Holofernes .midi conversion you did for SMDM. I can't remember why I didn't use it now, heh.

Dimension of Dreams is now up. Those of you who liked Ambience may get a kick out of this. ;) I might extend it at a later date, since right now it's only 1:49 long.

I also added a MySpace listing to the first post, because I am nice. :>

I'm back! Wait...I left? :P

Three new midis are up!

These are for the Speed of Doom project, which hasn't released yet, so it'd be appreciated if they weren't used for other purposes until its release. :)

These midis are located under the "Unreleased Projects" section in the first post, under which I'll post midis which shouldn't be used (therefore "Alice" has been moved there).

Here y'all go:

Unknown Organism
Baron's Province
Great Hall

Comments, please! :D

Watching You is now available. At 5:36 it's the longest midi I've ever written (Sanctified doesn't count because the original, non-extended version was merely 2:22).

I had PL2 MAP29 in mind when I made the first part of this song (in fact I began composing it just before PL2's completion date), and have recently made it much longer. I've been thinking maybe Zap would like to use it for TEM? :?

I'm very pleased with it so any and all feedback on it will be much appreciated. :)

(Pwease...? :3)

In a Blaze of Glory is another new title midi, composed specifically for BlazingPhoenix (hence the name). I suspect he may not want it to be used elsewhere, though, so it's under the "Unreleased Projects" section of the first post.

New song: Torque. Not for anything in particular, though it may end up in PL2 v1.1.

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to mention. "Baron's Province" was reuploaded recently because I spotted all too late that part of the song was actually out of key. :/ "Watching You" was also reuploaded today for the same reason, though it wasn't as much of a problem as it was with "Baron's Province".

I also just went ahead and reuploaded Torque. There's an extra slap bass in there now. :)

It would fit quite well in TEM, I've been trying to catch you on IRC to talk about it.

I'm pretty late to the party here, but I just wanted to say I really like your music. You have a really good knack for that classic videogame sound, without making things sound too modern electronic or too fantasy-oriented. It's not easy to find good songs like this.

Thankyou so much for putting them up for download and use!

MIDI can be pretty subjective, do you have a recommended listening setup? OPL or eawpats or specific soundfont or anything like that?

Listened to your midis for the first time yesterday, and immediately decided on 'torque' for my map05. Also listened to your titles and 'sitar' instantly went on my do want list :) I haven't listened to everything yet but I'm sure there's more stuff there I'd like to use if it's ok with you. If you want to look at my wad it's the thread titled Area42 - MAP03 is up now but I'm almost done with MAP05 (old one got shifted to 4).

Thanks for making these free, there're plenty of midis around but not many of this quality.

Thanks you guys :)

Super Jamie: I write my MIDIs in plain ol' Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth (so that's how I listen to them mostly), but I've downloaded a few great soundfonts (among them AirFont, SGM and FluidR) along with the one I got with MIDIConvertor Studio called Chorium - which allows me to listen to them in whatever soundfonts I have available, on the fly. Those four are the complete soundfont packs I've managed to locate that are available for free download.

ArmouredBlood: I'll check out your project, and yes, it's absolutely fine if you want to use any other of my midis for it. :P

Also, "Watching You" is to be used for The Empty Museum, so it's going under "Unreleased Projects". Sorry to those of you guys who thought about using it.

Torque is awesome. Great work.

Also, the links to the title musics "Psychos" and "The looniness of the Homestarrunner" doesn't work for me. Now that might be just me, but I'll mention it anyway so you can at least check it out.

Did the start of Torque make anyone else think of Replica by Fear Factory? Pretty rad.

Do you have your MP3s anywhere for download Jimmy? They'd be cool to put on my phone and listen to as I walk to work :)

Aha! So that's what that song is! :P (I heard it in SMDM and Community Chest 3 but couldn't identify it.)

I can say that I didn't really have anything in mind when I wrote Torque, except perhaps Hellcore 2.0 MAP04's track. Still, I can see why you'd draw a comparison of it to Replica. :P
