It sounds like a garbage can going through a wheat thresher and someone screaming. It's not even "brutal", it's unintelligible. I could make better music by beating a five-year-old to death.

I feel like commenting on this, because:

1) I agree with the ambient, and the fact that metal and stuff like that (rock, whatever, music with guitars etc) doenst fit in. I want Doom to be evil. Some eerie and maybe somewhat melancholic (to add to the feeling of being doomed; alone against Hell, in unknown places :P) music is what I like the most.

2) If it has to be metal or something, then I`d like it to be midi. I love midi! Pure midi! No soundfonts and stuff.

'Pure MIDI' is just the equivalent of a music sheet. The MIDI notation refers to the actual instruments played, while the 'instruments' are contained in a soundbank, or sounfont.

For instance, the default MIDI instrument set in Windows is the Roland SoundCanvas soundbank 'GM.DLS', which is located in a subdirectory of your %windir% folder.
