My favorite Doom music is Doom/Ultimate Doom E1M5 and E1M7, quite a bit of Doom64 (don't remember the map names/numbers heh) and PSX Doom tracks 1, 7 and 18. There's probably more but I don't remember now :(
E1M2 - The Imp's Song
E1M8 - Sign of Evil
E2M6 - Sinister
E2M8 - Nobody Told Me About iD - Especially that heavy remix by Jay Reichard.
Map07 - Shawn's Got The Shotgun
Map09 - Into Sandy's City
Map10 - The Demon's Dead
Map18 - Waiting For Romero To Play
Map20 - Message for the Archvile
Map25 - Angry ChairAdrian's Asleep
Map28 - Getting Too Tense
TNT02 - Human Barbecue/Smells Like Burning Corpse (The ZDoom version, that is)
TNT08 - Metal
I think General MIDI just outdid SoundBlaster for the ZDoom version of Human Barbecue. Now if you'll excuse me I'll need to plug my ears so all the blood doesn't leak out.
Hasn`t there been like 100 threads about this lately? :P
Well, anayway:
e1m5
e1m8
tnt map04 / av map18
hr2 map15
funfact: my band actually used a revamped version of e1m8 as an outro on our first demo. Used strings, choir and piano + lots of reverb to get that epic and vast feeling :P
E1M5 - Suspense
E2M3 - Intermission from Doom
E2M6 - Sinister
E3M8 - Facing The Spider
Doom 2:
MAP06 - In The Dark
MAP09 - Into Sandy's City
MAP20 - Message of the Archvile
MAP30 - Opening to Hell
However, i don't actually listen to them any more, i usually just have my own music running in the background. But for the console versions, it's a different story.
