My favorite Doom music is Doom/Ultimate Doom E1M5 and E1M7, quite a bit of Doom64 (don't remember the map names/numbers heh) and PSX Doom tracks 1, 7 and 18. There's probably more but I don't remember now :(

I think General MIDI just outdid SoundBlaster for the ZDoom version of Human Barbecue. Now if you'll excuse me I'll need to plug my ears so all the blood doesn't leak out.

Map18's Waiting for Romero, probably the best one IMO for Doom2.wad.
For Ultimate Doom, that'd be.. E1M8.

Otherwise I prefer Speed of Doom's Map01-32's tunes. :P

you don't need to if your using the lastest version of zdoom/Skulltag as there is a sound output device that imulates soundblaster quality music.

funfact: my band actually used a revamped version of e1m8 as an outro on our first demo. Used strings, choir and piano + lots of reverb to get that epic and vast feeling :P

TNT04, although it sounded better on my old computer with Doom95 (Anyone heard the "Clairvoyant Elegy" remix of this on OCRemix? Beautiful.)

The "credits" theme from PSX Doom (You can listen to this easily by sticking the disc in a CD player :p)

However, i don't actually listen to them any more, i usually just have my own music running in the background. But for the console versions, it's a different story.
