Nope, while navigation is done using the large hub-maps, all battles are fought either through object-trigger, random events, or by doing a specific task in the game.

More along the lines of an older Final Fantasy title.

This project isn't dead. Well, it was dead for a little while since I couldn't figure out how to work out a bug that caused the compiler I was using to crash with no explanation.

Turns out it was an undocumented bug in the compiler and I'd found a new thing that the devs could write an error message about.

Tried to finish this one before I fell asleep tonight.

I'm hoping to get major areas of the game a few decent still-cutscenes, but trying not to use them too much.

After all, gotta keep it Doom-y!
