e1-style level contest

just to let those of you know who do not read the news or visit doom center, we have started our first contest - design an e1-style level. john romero is judging and autographing the prize, a new ultimate doom box. if youre interested in competing, here's the link:

You could always read the contest rules and find out.

as long as its boom compatible =) i didn't put any restrictions on using ports. although, the more advanced you get, you could be getting further away from true e1-style, so...

e1m1 style- simple sectors with simple lighting. phaque boom, use doom.exe (maybe doom 95?)

Uh, e1 style is about the general look and feel, you can have as good or bad lighting as you want, it'd still be e1 style.
