Which GZDoom to use?

Can anyone please recommend which GZDoom would be best for Windows 8? I just bought a Toshiba w/amd vision or whatever,8 gbs of memory 500 gbs of hard drive.Any help is appreciated.Thank you in advance!

1.7.1 is the last official "stable" build, though I'm currently running 1.6.0 because I'm too lazy to update.

The one on the site's front page, presumably (1.7.1).
