Indeed. CHAAAAAIIIINSAW!

I've noticed most Doom LPs are at least serious, or at least as serious as Doom gets.

Why does it have 900,000+ views? Simple - Youtube consists largely of kids 13 and younger. They love and worship immature screaming, yelling, and question nothing. They don't realize the "Youtubers" they watch make thousand of dollars begging for likes and favorites. They idolize these gamers like gods or celebrities when in reality they don't do shit. The fact that idiots support a video like this and continue making this basement dweller money is ridiculous:

You know, we actually have to WORK for out money. Unbelievable...

Oh I wish there was a warning.

I've seen that rage quit shit before. Super annoying and shitty playing. But also staged. But it's what gets the hits. Can't stand that guy.

I stay away from the more popular YouTube channels because of this. I've noticed that fact as well.

You've summed it up quite well, my friend.

For some reason people like to see other people mad. The guy doing sit ups is a whole different story. I have no fucking idea why anybody would want to watch that.

Because he thinks he can make a bit of money by putting him self in an embarrassing position, people have always done anything for money.

People have always paid to see fools and idiots.

Problem with YouTube is that people think it's free. It's actually secretly getting you to indirectly pay a guy if you watch his videos.

Strange concept, but it apparently works.

On old lesson I have learned from game design has been that nobody, and I repeat, NOBODY cares about how hard you worked on something. In fact, talking about how hard you worked on something is likely to get some backlash in many situations.

The amount of effort you put into things does not directly correlate to how well received it will be.

That's pretty much what I'm guessing the audience is too. I remember catching one of the videos by accident someone linked me to another of these rage quit vids. Just obnoxious as fuck. Right up there with DSP.

You guys are correct, because that video is from WingsOfRedemption, a "famous" (HA!) Youtube CoD commentator.

Everybody, bow down and worship this man. He has 400,000+ subscribers and makes more money than us by never leaving the basement.

sigh...

I am a paid YouTube partner and I will rat the fuck out the entire popular larger YouTuber community to answer your question.

There is no possible way to actually earn that many subscribers so they just "buy" them. They literally purchase the ability to be one of the channels people can be automatically subscribed to when they make a new YouTube account and considering how many accounts that are created simply for botting or trolling purposes that can be very lucrative in AdSense terms. YouTube is the most efficient money scam that has every fucking happened.

When I signed my network contract and was accepted, I was given this option, and can still sign up to do it at anytime. That's how he gets so many subscribers, because he bought them and most of them are bots.

Those channels should be ashamed of themselves of doing this kind of crap on cheating the system. I do believe buying subs/likes are against Youtube's AUP/ToS.

Also, Rooster Teeth can suck one for producing stupid videos like this.

Here's my question. How the hell does THIS have almost 70K views?
There's a second part to this, and it doesn't even have 5% of the views the first part has.

Hey that's my video. I'm also curious about that, as it has many more views than any of my others. I suppose it could be people searching for "Kama Sutra" and being disappointed that it isn't porn.

yup that's definitely the case, i've seen many pointless vidoes with porn titles that have close to million views or even more.

Doesn't that also come packaged with lots of thumbs-down disappointment votes?

But there are lots of ks demos on YouTube and they don't all have that many views. Maybe the presence of a boxing champion in it has also played a big role?
