Fan-shops etc

Hey Guys i have some questions :)

1) Where can i get some Fan Stuff like T-Shirts, Postcards, Wallpapers, Dolls etc. I have seen a Doom T-shirt on Id-Store but its white, i hate white

2) Can i use the Avatars for other boards i am on? (some pics are great)

3) Why is John Romeros Head behind the Endboss

Romero's head? Probably to co-incide with the sound the Baphomet makes when he spots you, you know, 'to win the game you must kill me, john romero'?

i guess you'd have to ask explicitly about each avatar.

1) It's hard to get some of that stuff. I don't think that they make any Doom action figures, though I did once see a site called Reaper Minis that made Doom minitures.

2) Dunno, some people might get a little pissed...

3) Probably because John Romero was like the top guy at ID...dunno really. Another explaination might be that they just needed a thing behind the wall for the rockets to hurt.

Im not quite sure, but I think Doom3.dk posted something about a doom box-set including nice things such as a t-shirt, a cyberdemon lead miniature, a poster, the game (of course) and some other miscellaneous fan-stuff.

yeah, that's right.

Id anthology was it's name, but i'm not sure it is available anymore :(

well I saw there were some doom figures from the Doom 3 legacy movie that are placed in Carmack's and others' offices. It's just probably because they wouldn't want to release them to the public.

Those were probably the models that ID made for Doom. ID made models out of clay, metal and also out of large maniquiens.

Yeah, that's right. Adrian did an actual model of each monster before beginning to make the sprites. I doubt about him using the same method for the scenery sprites though.
