Various demo suggestions from me (none are insanely hard):

Don't be daunted by the humongous layout, it is indeed quite linear.

A really excellent suggestion. I'd intended to recommend that one myself, but couldn't remember what it was called. Thanks. :) BTW, the exact file name is viledem.wad, and it's here.

Another good "taster" wad for a larger project is Realm of Evil, which I reviewed very favourably in T/nC #161. You need to enjoy low-ammo situations to record on those maps though.

And since you mentioned Skywater (I recall Opulent and I did a couple of UV Speeds on map01, and he pwned me :) ), I feel obliged to say that Skyewood still lacks any demos. Maybe not the most demo-friendly maps, but it's much too cool to be demoless.

Another map I keep meaning to try recording on is deepatak, or rather the first Boom version of that map (which doesn't appear to be available for download anywhere; the final Boom version has too much silly stuff in it for my taste.)

well i've put in an effort on two of those three LOH2 maps you suggested, graz, (another thread) ... i was rally pumped up about them yet no one seems to have noticed :-(

I've watched them, and copied them to http://www.doomworld.com/sda/dwdemo. Good stuff.

i've noticed that the personell pages up there need updating, just a lack of time? i might consider volunteering to go over it a bit if that would be helpful, or not if it's a case of too-many-cooks :-) (i'm a proffesional web programmer)

If you take a look in /newstuff, you'll get a very pleasant surprise.

cycloid: It's Opulent's site, and up to him; all I do is upload a few files now and then.

A UV Max ORIGWAD.wad or wow.wad speedrun demo would be unique, to say the least.
