He uploaded a lot of his speed demo for Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/Sindrom11), but once suddenly he deleted all the videos and changed his channel style to a totally different way.

But I can't understand, why?

I'm starting to think Doomworld is some kind of secret behavioral experiment, you'd be hard pressed to find the same ratio of weird-per-person anywhere else ; or maybe I just don't know the Internet well enough.

On another note, that new layout (I know, it's been months, but bear with me, I don't visit youtube that often) is confusing as hell ; how do you see the person's videos in his own channel? In Sindrom's page, all I can see is videos from other people.

he was ashamed of imperfection of his videos, so he deleted them in shame hoping that someone like ... "ehm" ... me would bring high-quality stuff onto youtube

I guess The Bloody Boards has (had) a little higher weirdness ratio

(though on the other hand my ratio of screwing up editing of posts has increased on Doomworld quite rapidly)

I'm inclined to ignore anyone who only releases demos as videos and doesn't provide lmp files.

Perhaps he just lost interest. Maybe he even found it to be spiritually demeaning, like that born-again French guy that ran that Legacy WADs site!

I don't think you know much about my neighborhood, although I'll give you that under an "average" Doomworlder perspective (i.e. from EE "anyone who doesn't watch and enjoy porn is weird/a liar"), most people I know must look like nutjobs. :)

I don't think Sindrom11 is a kid. From the little communication we had I got an impression he's a level-headed person with good education and sense of humor and a passion for DOOM. Going by the current content of his channel I'd venture a guess that the shit that's being going on in the UK was one of the reasons for the sudden change, but something serious must have happened to him on the personal level to give it up all like that.

He posted here as Bloodite Krypto and most of his demos are on DSDA under the Krypto nym.

Eh? I was in the UK last week, and was not aware of any unusual problems (everything as peaceful, quiet and boring as usual). Have you been watching some news channel that blew some relatively minor thing out of all proportion?
