never done one of these before :P I should be free on Friday (though I should be revising for my synoptic exam) But hey I'm a student and I've already got a first in procrastination....
Edit - If I can get an internet connection that is :S (depends on whether my house mate installed it before I left for the holidays)

I recommend you to do some training then. Download a good wad and try to complete it FDA-style. Eternally Yours, for example.

So...I take it everything will be provided shortly before the event begins (Archive will be passworded and said password is provided when the event starts)?

Yes. You must start recording immediately after the password is provided, and send the zipped demo as soon as you finish. If you spend too much time on file operations, you'll get a penalty (+5 minutes to your time or something).

Those *.bat files are just for convenience. Of course you can write your own file or use different methods of recording (shortcut, for example), just make sure to play on UV with -complevel 9.

Yes, two invisible arch-viles in the red key zone seemed to be really tricky, but I wasn't hunted by them fortunately.

gave up now. the redkey was fine for me, first I died for stupidly switching on rl, then i simply avoided the room, and died again after 15min more.. geez enuff for me, too long already ;) I sucked
was easy to escape the room after picking it up anyway, but I got trapped after red room instead and died once more, so I decided to not restart 4th time. what about u? reached exit?
