Hello everyone! I'm here again!
And now I want to present you my new demo. That's Real World UV-Speed TAS (built) in 5:27 (wee!).

There are very many tricks used, but some (as always, the most useful) tricks were missed. I didn't find any new tricks (except of map13 rocket-keygrab and map14 deathslide), the old routes were used mostly.

MAP15: Uhm, is keygrab possible?

Nope. It is too high. (64px while player's height is 56px)

MAP13: ... Do you think, is that keygrab possible w/o RJ?

I think I like it, but it missed good old human touch. Why it's a "full build" demo? Probably I'm just an old-fashioned.

Memfis, yes, it's time to make demo of RW2... :)
Akse, to make the impressive TAS demo "by hand" (with some DRE help of course), you need unreal experience... I have not enough, but you have it (...and sometimes I can't do your time with DRE only), so when I'm trying to do a speedrun in PrBoom+, I get some crap. :)
P.S.: I'll do RW2 a bit smoother.

I understand that it's time consuming. It eats A LOT OF TIME to make demo look smooth and it eats even more when I'm trying to pull off a "cool move" (like in the begining of map 27 in my tvdq). The formula is - the more effort you put, the more it will be appreciated by doomers like me. Still a good demo.

If you'll repeat all my best (unimprovable) times and improve tricks a bit (and use the missed, of course) with your skills you can shave about... 7 or 8 seconds. "RW in 5:19 by Akse" sounds good. :))
But this is your choice...

I'm working on it, currently 4 maps are ready, but Real World 2 is more interesting for me.
PS: If YOU are waiting for KA, I will spend the whole next morning for it. :))

I'm a sucker for TAS Movies, especially a good ones. After all, that's how I was inspired. Probably I would did it my self (KA beater), but a) the map design is too poor for me b) you've already started to improve, so I skipping it.

I'm very close to the end of RW2... If luck won't leave me, [I think] I'll do it in under 2 minutes.
PS: I'll post RW2 demo in this thread.

I think, now there is nothing to optimize. I spent all my brain power to find the way how to do map10 in 0:20... So, my closest time is ~21'47
I'll upload 2:00 demo, maybe, somebody will help me with routes and optimization...
It doesn't contain txt, so don't upload it to DSDA, please.

Real World 2 in 2:00 (PreR) (my map10 closest time to 0:20)

For some reason my dre refuses to work with RW. Crap. Thankfully it works fine with RW2.

I'm not familiar with rw2, but it's looks like there is no easy way to optimize m10. Do you able to get 20 sec with nomo or there is absolutely no difference at all?

Well, there's not so big difference. Got 21'24.
I'm still eating analgine - I tried all door boosts, all monsters' assist (while killing Icon of Sin), made "spiral stair slide" - it didn't change the situation. 21'46.
I will release it tomorrow. I'll try to do it again, the last time.
