Doom Park

I was just informed of a new release of Doom V8 which is a port of Doom which runs on Game Park 32 which is a Korean handheld game console.

I've released a new version of DoomV7, it is now at a constant 60FPS and you can even set it to be at 80FPS if you want (in fact its 350% faster than the last version). Download it here. If you have problems running Doom2 get this version which is for Multi Firmware.

So if you have a Game Park 32 (and who doesn't?!) then head on over there and grab a copy for yourself.

They probably just don't use English forums.

It's a great port, runs really fast and has music etc. Although saves and sound are a bit buggy at the moment (the sound is gonna be fixed in v9 supposedly).

It is a hell of a lot better then the GBA version!

I would just like to say that not only was this port developed by someone in the UK (and also partially by another devver who I think is american), but the english/french speaking GP32 community and the Korean GP32 community are quite seperate.

Heh, I thought that an Australian GP32 community would be nonexistant. Well, that proves me wrong.

i think that it would quite well here in the states, considering it has better gfx than the gameBLow advanced. and its reasonably priced. but i dont think the n-gage(sp?) will do any good.

i have a gp32 i playtested and it runs fine and crap and they ported wolfenstien to it 2 and bunch of emulators
