A little birdy tells me of a release date on july 5th. Sounds like porkies to me.

Otherwise all these links do say that 08/03/04 is the release date and appear pretty certain. Tbh i'm betting it's gonna be sometime in 2007.

I don't think i'll take these dates seriously until it comes straight from Id.

Here are 2 different dates from same website but with different vertion of Doom3

This is Doom3 with Special Packaging

and this is Doom3 with Standar Packaging

One says that there is only 62 days left! and the other says there are 118 days left!!

Could it be that there are 2 vertions? apart from the packaging?

Yea, I heard something about preorders getting it 8 weeks early or something. I think, unless I'm mistaken and that's HL 2.

I have just recived an e mail from a games company that the special packaging will be released 8 weeks earlyer than the standard packaging!

Interesting... But it still only comforts our hype about the release date or even makes it more hyped up. Of course only an idiot would be comforted since there's no confirmation from ID themselves. It wouldn't be suprising though if this was the plan (I'm assuming your thinking what I'm thinking about the possible connection here.).
