Rogue-like Doom 3?

hellborg writes that he's released a new version of his Rogue-like Doom 3 modification called DungeonDoom.

DungeonDoom is a Doom3 modification for Windows and Linux operating systems. It incorporates most key features of roguelike games. In particular, levels are largely composed of mazes, which are generated with a pseudo-random number generator. Levels have stairs leading either to higher or lower levels of the dungeon.

It looks...intriguing, to say the least.

a bit too hard for my taste, not that vanilia doom3 is a bit too hard for me too ;)

I like it except I hope there continues to be updates, First Person view just doesn't fit and I can't get used to the Overhead view in the dungeon. I'd like to see a 3/4 top-down view ala Diablo.
