Rivecoder announced over at Skulltag.com that the next version of Skulltag has been released after a successful testing of the release candidate released mere days ago.
We're pleased to announce the official release of Skulltag 0.97c3! This is the very first release in the hands of Torr Samaho, Skulltag's new developer! It fixes bugs that have plagued earlier Skulltag versions, and he hope to quell many more in releases to come!

After being released to public testing and not having *any* new bugs, this update is now fit for public enjoyment. So grab the files and enjoy Skulltag!
This means that all the Skulltag servers now are running with this new bugfixed version. So go get it and get cracking on some skulls!

fp! but does this version include any other changes other than the ones fixed in the 97c release candidates? The changelog didn't mention anything, so I'm guessing this is just a simple rerelease?

No bugs were discovered during the public testing of 97c3 release candidate 1. There were like 3 or 4 release candidates for version 97c2. We just got lucky. This is now the official version which means all the servers have switched over to it. (There were only 2 or 3 servers with the release candidate for testing purposes only.)

So the short answer is... no. There are no changes between 97c3-rc1 and 97c3.

Yeah, well, that is pretty sad. IMO, Hell, damn, crap, piss and ass are the only words up there that, in certain contexts, are not as vulgar as the other words.

Yeah but if you only take the news items on the front page and disregard the /newstuff Chronicles (which follow a slightly different editorial standard) I count exactly 0 instances of "rape" or "fuck" or "cunt" and the only instance of "fag" is when we link to a site called "FAG News" for a Doom 3 review

Does SkullTag team fuck ATI users? OpenGL mode blinks like a hell (Slade, GZDoom in embryo) on my Radeon 9800 Pro if a fog is switched on (by default)

That's most likely because they don't need the features that are bugged in ATI's GL driver.

There must be a reason why ATI is developing a completely new one for Vista.
