Klinical sends word of some news from the Dept. of WTF: for those who program Ruby, a combination of autotest (automated testing facility), growl (automatic notifications), growlnotify, Mac OS X, and some Doomguy HUD face sprites can lead to a somewhat odd utility.

I thought it would be a Doom hud at the bottom of the desktop with the face changing according to notifications, but this was amusing enough.

Yes, images are disabled in the News forum.
