Not that much. Although it won't profit from most of the recent changes which are all D3D based and therefore Windows only.

Ah, I'm sure X could do it. or OpenGL, even. Who would have the patience to rewrite it every release, though? especially in zdoom's constant state of flux these days. :(

X could do it. GL as well. But Randy's code is D3D exclusive and not easily ported to other platforms.
