Yeah, but it's not really Doom compatible and uses the the sad Allegro for sound. A better alternative in particularly old systems would naturally be Doom itself.

Using SDL_mixer's TiMidity support this issue doesn't occur. It sounds better than MIDI anyway (at least on my computer... or probably any, if you ask me).

I'm partial to rebirth.
Sort of, because a couple of the later levels can cause VPOs.
