/me changes the subject.....

Really, though, this is pretty interesting, and I'm surprised no one, including AbyssalStudios, has mentioned this yet:

In Chaos Order, the player gets to choose from two paths, to the left or to the right, when the lift in this room near the beginning is lowered. Each path results in a totally different level, with the exit being reached from two different directions. AbyssalStudios clearly went to the left.

And BTW, for kicks, you can play the other way of the map without restarting if you want to even after you've reached the exit. You can return to the room I showed in the screenshot when you reach the exit and continue in the other direction, never (until the exit) crossing an area you've visited before once you continue on from the room with the lift. Or you can, as a bonus, play the other route "backwards", with the opportunity to potentially skip some puzzles, eventually returning to the room in my screenshot, proving you just went in a complete circle (though then you have to make your way back through one of the two routes to get back to the exit).

BTW, going to the right makes the map require no keys, but there is still a big and tough final room comapred to the rest of the level (and you could even say, the keys in the final room are four or five switches in the route).

Drama, definitely. I can find new WADs easily enough, but drama (as the ancient Greeks knew) is priceless.

And Doominator, I was going to add this info, but my review was already accepted.

Definitely drama since it's rare that something really interesting comes out.

Sorry, I just wanted to point it out. I had the same happen on me once already. And I just added it on the forums, I believe.

So no big deal. Hope you didn't mind me adding it.

P.S. Oh, and the o's in my name are 0's (zeroes). Don't really care if you spell it with o's; just wanted to point it out.

Lies! The first one is an o. But I'll be sure to add this to my list of forum nuances.

Didn't necessarily mean all the o's. But sorry for not being more specific.

And who knows, maybe I'm wrong. But that's extremely unlikely because I'm always right.

No, no. I enjoy your reviews. It's just that, though myk disagrees with me, I think reviews should be more about critiquing (which you do very well) than summarizing.

I prefer a healthy medium of both.

It seems mediafire was not at fault for my screenshots being missing. I had to clean it out because I was hitting some sort of upload space limit, and I assumed the screenshots had already been downloaded (I submitted those reviews quite awhile ago). Sorry about that. I can re-upload if someone really wants.

Also I am nominating Runaway Items for mod of the year.

Upload space limit? That's news to me - how much stuff do you have sitting on their servers?

Unfortunately that was the problem with that review. It didn't describe anything about the textures or how neat it was. While it had some linear qualities it wasn't a boxfest (like most of the shitty maps that are uploaded!), and if he added something about that, it would have at least done the map some justice.
It's a neat little map with some nice touches in the detailing but that apparently wasn't enough to save it from a very brief review.

How about "Do nought minat nil r"?

Not entirely. Summarizing may be part of the critique, although indeed just summarizing what the WAD is about won't make a review. Abyssalstudios1 did summarize some things but often to relate to stuff he liked or not. Maybe there was some descriptive redundancy, nothing is perfect, but the original critique of the review had been that it "spoiled it" for the guy who hadn't played the WAD; that shouldn't really matter.
