I'm not really sure of how to provide some witty, amusing description for this that will match the story itself... so I'll just give you the facts. id and Bethesda commissioned an intricate cake recreation of the Spider Mastermind, based off the recently posted high res photos of the original model, and sent it off to G4TV presenter Morgan Webb, who's moderating the 20 Years Of id panel at QuakeCon.

Here's some more photos that Bethesda's Pete Hines posted on Twitter. It's a slow news day, but it's a delicious one.
