We're making an early return to the Scythe series in this week's edition, but don't expect the same antics that went down last time though. This sequel steps things up a notch. There's larger maps with larger hordes to keep you busy; some nice gothic and Egyptian themes going on too. The map list is halved so we can save some for later. Fear not, there's plenty of pain rotations to go around. Oh, and don't forget to bring your mic along.

PWADs: scythe2, scythe2-extras, tskins1e
Maps: 01-21, 31, 32
Lives: 1
Players: 25/50
Servers: [L@P] & [DUI] NJ
When: 20:00 GMT (Euro session) / 20:00 EST (US session)

There's even more survival this Saturday as ZDS hosts Obituary - a very old school 1995 PWAD for Doom 2 - Nightmare! style. Just grab the latest version of ZDaemon and join all the fun.

it got nasty in the final levels during the pain rotation, but 1 life was quite okay for the maps used. part 2 on the insane maps will hopefully get 2 lives.

also map32 with -fast and 2x dmg plasmadicks was hilarious.

Oh yeah, that was fun ;P. Evil Marines + 2x dmg + -fast = Hilarity if you get too close to one

Haha, oh yeeeeah. Speedhacking plasmadicks, I got some footage on that too, might increase the gameplay speed and add Benny Hill or something.... :)

Mega awesome sesh right m'here. We smashed the previous record of players heheh.. 41 marines in the server at one point, maybe more. The Euro sesh still had like 20 players after 5 hours of serious hardcore pain.

Rock on, DOOM!

the camera shot at 23:20 is beautiful. the cyb ruining our hopes&dreams at ~30:00 is hilarious. memfis being the last desperate (and doomed) survivor at ~35:00 is one of the funniest doom things i've seen in a while. :) then again, there's the plasmadick traffic jam...
