Jean-Francois "X-DOOM" Thibault has posted three new screenshots of his project, ZXDoom:

I have enhanced a characters talkbox displayed in a random screen location close from the talking characters.
I have taking almost 1 month to create an entire powerful chararcters AI in game, just like Half-Life in the solo mode.
And for the multiplayer mode, ZXDoom can have a maximum of 64 players on the game and have a complete AI bot similar as Unreal Tournament (they will never try to jump on a higher floor or still walking on the front of a wall... no more stupids bots !!!!). With some bouton commands, you can orders a bot to Stay, Cover, Attack, Defend.... just as Unreal Tournament.

Jean-Francois still has troubles fixing some multiplayer issues, but this should not take long until we see new screenshots.

Good God thats cool. These are features that without a doubt should be added to ZDoom proper. Have you considered hooking up w/ Randy? (But don't delay 1.23! :) )

The screens remind me about the Strife dialogue system.
You can have the storry telled while you play the game.

I you were in a war. Throw one of those yellow paprika things at your foes instead of a grenade.
They would probably be so surprised that they would stop and think how useless that war really is...
While they´re thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them...
