Nick 'Nightmare' Baker noticed quite an interesting news post at the PC Zone site. Here is an extract:

According to pre-show literature, id Software is to show a DOOM title at American games summit E3 on Wednesday, May 22.

Before you ask, it looks almost certain to be the monstrously anticipated first-person shooter update DOOM 3. According to the brochure, the title is to be shown in a seminar dubbed "Sneak peek: Inside the development process of the hottest upcoming titles". The event is scheduled to be held between 2.30pm and 3.30pm PST at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This means that, by May 22, places all over the internet could very well provide a new video of the game we are all waiting for.
