I remember that Eternity had added some GL features (something to do with a backend). I asked on #noteternityenginerelated if it was also to help get Fraps support, I believe I saw a positive answer. If so, how can I make Eternity be recognized by Fraps? Are there settings in the config?

GL settings were reviewed in one of the earlier release threads... I'll dig it up later if you can't find it on your own.

Another alternative is to use the DirectDraw backend, with -directx. Your mileage may vary on Vista/7.
