Sephiroth Posted November 3, 2002 well at the school i went to it was always about image and impressing rich people. well that was more of the city leaders. anyway I am glad to be out of that hell hole and with the news i am even happier. As election time rolled around a kid posted posters and flyers about voteing on some issue and how it wouldn't do much good to say yes. the kid was a in opposition, duh he pissed someone off, of a issue. he used non-offensive means and it was not like he covered the school with flyers. he was suspended for 2 days. first off i am like WTF? because i knew people who did similar things, now i am glad i did not advertise that i was a socialist. sence when is it aginst school policy to show political views in school. he used non-offensive means and it was fairly common to see that. anyway it shows the BS we teach our children. you can think for your self, as long as it is what we want u to think. they purposely bar children from expressing political views for a reason. anyway i smeall a law suite, among other things. 0 Share this post Link to post
Use Posted November 3, 2002 the school can push people around because no one stands up for themselves. A thing can only have power over you if you give it that power. School is no different. 0 Share this post Link to post
AndrewB Posted November 3, 2002 Sort of like the story of the 260lb football player who was suspended for 2 days for kissing his girlfriend on the forehead. He missed the big game. School is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. I'm one of the lucky ones. 0 Share this post Link to post
Insomniak Posted November 3, 2002 I go to inner-city ghetto school. If theres one day where browns (middle eastern) don't fight each other, i'd be amazed. Heh 0 Share this post Link to post
