Boot times

Mine takes ages, but thats mostly because I have a really slow hard drive.

yea man shes pretty fucked, virus in there trashed my anti virus, scan disk dosent work, defrag dosent work, system restore dosent work its just plain fucked up so it usually take between 8-10 mins depending on whether or not I'v had it off for awhile, also my dad has like 20 background programs running alll the fucking time and if I turn any of them off he bitches at me so yea even out desktop is over half full with icons.

I dunno, mine only gets shut off about every 3 or 4 months. It did actualy freeze on me yesterday though, these new DIVX drivers are totally fucking with my computer. I think I'll go back to the previous version.

I leave my computer on 24/7.

Cold boots take about 40 seconds or so. Regular restarts about 30 seconds. I've never really timed them but I'm certain both are well under one minute.
