Remilia Scarlet Posted September 26, 2004 Someone needs a program (in Chinese, I believe) to get off some acid. That...had to have been the strangest movie I've ever seen. I know it's supposed to be artistic, but I think it tried too hard. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dron Posted September 26, 2004 that was one of the most trippiest movies ever 0 Share this post Link to post
Bucket Posted September 26, 2004 What? It's an avant-garde Asian cartoon... and yet... there's... NO TENTACLE RAPE!!!! I'm confused, so confused... 0 Share this post Link to post

Disorder Posted September 26, 2004 Well animated. Good work. Very trippy indeed. 0 Share this post Link to post
Zoost Posted September 26, 2004 I started making water melon love 10 years ago, but now i think it is boring. 0 Share this post Link to post
Little Faith Posted September 26, 2004 Watermelons can indeed be coaxed into square shapes by trapping them within square boxes while they are still small. Besides this one is brilliant. 0 Share this post Link to post
Spike Posted September 26, 2004 That's gotta be one of the most obscure-yet-entertaining ads i've ever seen. 0 Share this post Link to post

Jordan Posted September 27, 2004 That had to be the weirdest movie ive ever seen, but it was very well animated 0 Share this post Link to post

Relica Religia Posted September 27, 2004 It is Japanese. You can also figure that out by the square watermelons that they only grown and sell in Japan. But holy JesusGod, that was fucked up. But I have this strange urge to eat a watermelon now..... 0 Share this post Link to post
Sharessa Posted September 27, 2004 This remains the collest batshit Japanese commercial ever. 0 Share this post Link to post

Do you mean that the clip was made in Japan? 'Cause they are NOT speaking Japanese in that commerical. The words they say do not match with the subtitles. 0 Share this post Link to post

insertwackynamehere Posted September 27, 2004 Heh, I assumed the language made as much sense as the video, and was made up. 0 Share this post Link to post
Snarboo Posted September 27, 2004 I'd like to see the people who made this ad tackle Oscar Meyer Weiners... "Tonight I'm gonna be your...WEINER LOVE!" Oscar Meyer...Weiner^2 0 Share this post Link to post
999cop Posted September 27, 2004 I'll download the clip again once I get home cuz I cant hear the audio here...if I can get QT working that is. But the voice acting is done by Japanese I recognize. Tojiko Noriko? That sounds awfully Japanese to me. As for compositing, it might be done by Chinese or Korean, and the 3d animation part was probably done by a crew that consists of Western people. 0 Share this post Link to post
Goliath Posted September 30, 2004 Try watching it drunk....much more fun! 0 Share this post Link to post
COBALT Posted September 30, 2004 What the hell do you expect? It's friggin asian for cryin' out loud. Since when is a watermelon fetish sexy? There's several minutes of my life gone forever. 0 Share this post Link to post
