Well, no freelook, but you could look up and down...that was mostly to help out flying though...actualy, it was a pain in the ass.

Heretic also had ambient sound...my fav.

When is it not a TC or PC? It replaces levels, maybe some textures, weapons, music, or enemies. It can have a new story, too. That sounds pretty PC-ish to me. Even if it's only one episode, it's still a PC.
