Why did you put Half-Life there? All it had were some ambient scores to creep you out. Quake 2 had better music. The best game music comes from RPGs like Torment and Icewind Dale. And Total Annihilations music rocked too.

Diablo had some good music, especially the music to the "town village". Yes, perhaps Quake 2 had better qualities than Half life.

To me, Unreal Tournament had probably the best music ever. These are some examples:

Botmca9 (Phobos)
Colossus
Enigma
Foregone (Facing Worlds)
Mech8 (Pyramid)
Skyward

Hah, the Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 soundtracks are the greatest. I hum the inn jingle day in and day out.

Diablo was a great game and had some great music, period. I'm writing at school, damn modem. ;D

We have some workers outside the school that dug up the broadband cable, that sucks meatballs.

Yes!!! That's the best soundtrack, period. Or at least, My fave game soundtrack of all time. Good to know I'm not the only one who thinks so.
