Pincushion and refresh rate correlation

Whenever I set the refresh rate to something other than the default (75 Hz), the screen has a horrible pincushion distortion. Is this normal, or is something wrong with my card? (RADEON X300, BTW)

Er, I wouldn't call it "normal" but I've seen it before, and its not your card. My CRT does this when set to the resolutions of 800x600 or 1024x768, and my grandparents old CRT did it when not set to max refresh rate for the resolution it was in. Best solution is to leave it at 75Hz.

BTW what brand and model is your monitor.

It's a Dell E551 Color Monitor (CRT).
